[ESG Training] Lianhe Green - HKSFPA CPT Course Was Successfully Held Virtually

Hong Kong, December 13, 2023 - On 12 December 2023, Lianhe Green Development Company Limited (“Lianhe Green") hosted a Continuous Professional Training (“CPT”) virtual course in Cantonese about green and sustainable finance certification for the Hong Kong Securities & Futures Professionals Association (“HKSFPA”) members in Hong Kong. In this 1-hour session, Ms. Joyce Chi, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of Lianhe Green shared the overview of the Chinese offshore green bond market, the Hong Kong green loans market, the industry landscape and trend of the green and sustainable finance certification business and some case studies, with over 680 market participants.

Ms. Joyce Chi presented an introduction and qualification of Lianhe Green, the definition of green and sustainable development and finance, the reason for Chinese issuers to issue green bonds and loans in Hong Kong, the subsidy details of the “Green and Sustainable Finance Grant Scheme” launched by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the market size and issuance distribution of the Chinese offshore green bonds, the top lenders in the Hong Kong green loans market, the common types of green and sustainable finance certification services, the competitive landscape and latest trend in the green and sustainable finance certification industry, and some few case studies to showcase the structure and content of a typical green and sustainable finance certification report. During the session, the audiences were proactively responsive to several market-related questions raised by Ms. Joyce Chi.
