Hong Kong, 20 October 2026 — Lianhe Green Development Company Limited (“Lianhe Green”) is pleased to announce that it has been recognised by Hong Kong Green Designation Limited (“HKGDL”) as one of the first Recognised Reviewers for the HKEX Green Equity Designation.

As a Recognised Reviewer, Lianhe Green provides independent, entity-level assessments of whether applicants meet the eligibility requirements of the HKEX Green Equity Designation Framework. Its assessment reports inform HKGDL’s assessment of applications for the designation.

The HKEX Green Equity Designation is a voluntary framework designed to enhance the visibility and transparency of companies whose activities and investments are substantially aligned with green and environmental sustainability objectives. Developed with reference to the World Federation of Exchanges’ Green Equity Principles, it aims to help investors identify companies engaged in environmentally sustainable economic activities, promote the application of the Hong Kong Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance, and support Hong Kong’s development as an international centre for sustainable finance.

Lianhe Green has developed its External Review Approach to Green Equity Designations to explain how it assesses companies against applicable designation frameworks. The approach covers activity classification, taxonomy alignment, financial indicators, and applicable operational, governance and disclosure requirements.

Through its role as a Recognised Reviewer, Lianhe Green seeks to support the integrity of the designation and the development of transparent, credible sustainable finance practices.
