Mr. Polex Lam

Polex is the Managing Director and Head of Analytics and Product Development at Lianhe Green Development, based in Hong Kong.

With over 15 years of experience in the field of sustainable development, he has gained expertise in various areas, including green finance, carbon footprint analysis, ESG data verification, corporate sustainability reporting, green energy transformation and development assessment, climate change and sustainability consulting, carbon reduction, and energy efficiency improvement.

Prior to his current position at Lianhe Green Development, Polex served as Senior Vice President at Hang Seng Index, where he held responsibility for Hang Seng Index & Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA) sustainability ratings and ESG index compilation. He has also worked in international consulting firms (Big Four) and utility companies. Additionally, Polex is a part-time lecturer at the Hong Kong Metropolitan University and holds positions as Honour Treasurer, Assessor, and Interviewer for the professional chartership recognition at the Energy Institute.

Polex holds several certifications, including Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA®), Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), Certified member of the Energy Institute (MEI), Chartered Energy Manager, Certified Carbon Auditor, and holder of CFA's ESG Investing. He earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the City University of Hong Kong.
